The Story of the U.S.S. Constitution

On Sunday, February 23 at 2:00pm, John Benda, USN, a Holliston resident and the 76th Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Constitution, will discuss the fascinating story of the oldest commissioned warship afloat. Benda will trace the ship’s history from her launch in 1797 up to today. He will also share news about her current crew and the vessel’s educational mission. The program will take place at the Holliston Historical Society, 547 Washington Street (Route 16), Holliston, MA.
