Come to the Rally! The women of Holliston are speaking out about the right to vote! No shrinking violets in the crowd!

As the suffrage movements spread across the country, women came out from all cities and towns, and Holliston was certainly no exception. We had many brave women who fought against opposition to the right to vote, and they ultimately won and proudly cast their votes. The year 1920 gave women the right to vote across the country, but did you know that women could vote in a very limited way before that year? Attend the meeting! And cheer the women on to victory and the right to vote!

Come to the Holliston Historical Society barn on November 4th at 7:30PM to see this presentation. Light refreshments will be served after the rally.  While the barn is drafty, mask wearing is encouraged to stop the spread of COVID-19, but it is not mandatory.
