Holliston was not surprised by the news coming to them by way of a relay rider on the morning of April 19, 1775. The British Regulars were not coming to Holliston, this seemingly quiet corner of Middlesex County, but three companies of militia quickly gathered. Two marched to Cambridge and one set out for Roxbury at Boston Neck. Join us and learn what the townspeople of Holliston did to support the war effort as well as what life was like during that time in history. Learn how people of Holliston dealt with embargos, the boycott of tea and British goods, and Tories!
