Historical Society to Host Local Author & Publisher
The Holliston Historical Society will present a one-hour program titled “So you’d like to write a book” on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11th at 7 pm. Local author Bobby Blair who penned several books this past spring, “A Holliston Call to Duty” & “A Holliston Oath to Support & Defend”, will speak about what motivated him to chronicle the military service of Holliston men & women from the Civil War to the present. Blair will tell attendees the interesting facts he found while researching for his books.
Teaming up with Bobby will be Lynne Damianos of Damianos Publishing of Framingham, located in the Saxonville Mills. Damianos’ company provides Editing/Proofreading, Book Design, Printing in USA, Project Management, National Distribution, Marketing, Consulting & Photography. So, if you’ve ever had the inkling to become an author, this program might just help you along.
The event is free and open to the public at the Holliston Historical Society, 547 Washington St., Holliston. Due to COVID-19, wearing a mask is suggested. Refreshments will be served after the talk’s conclusion.
