First Social of the Holiday Season! Open House and Barn at Holliston Historical Society, Sunday, December 5th, 2:30-5:30 pm

Start your Holiday season off right by dropping by the Holliston Historical Society. The Holliston Garden Club will have beautifully decorated the Asa Whiting House for the holidays and our collection committee will set the scene to a holiday of years gone by. The tree will be real (cut down from a member’s yard!) and decorated with handmade and natural ornaments.  Vintage toys will be waiting for the children. The dining room will be set with its best china and candlelight will flicker at each window…..  

In the barn, members may peruse the Society’s Treasure Shop for that unusual gift for the person who has everything? Our partners, the Holliston Garden Club, will also be offering items to browse. Sometimes the best present is the one you buy for yourself!

Light (savory and sweet) refreshments will be served with hot and cold beverages. Masks are encouraged, (except when eating!) but not mandatory.  

If you would like to contribute a sweet or savory treat, please contact Sheila Adams at 508-429-4876 or .Treats should be able to be picked up with tongs to keep covid protocols in place. Also, if you would be willing to volunteer some time to help that day, in the House or Barn, please contact Sheila Adams.
