January Potluck Evening Enjoyed By All

on 1/19/2016

Members and their guests enjoyed the annual Potluck dinner on the evening of January 16th. It began about 5:30pm  with appetizers, beverages and the much anticipated Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs' playoff game.  Dinner was delicious and enlightening with many recipes from the 1920s through the 1940s. There were chicken entrees, Swiss steak and noodles, macaroni and cheese, a bean and cheese loaf (popular in the 1940s when meat was very expensive), hot dogs and beans, Waldorf salad......just to name a few.......very satisfying!
